So, how much does a website cost? To get an accurate assessment of your vision and needs we invite you to contact us directly for a quote. Until then, here are some ballpark numbers of what a simple website for your business might cost.
Starter, 1 Page Brochure Website
$99. This includes basic design work usually set around a 2-column or 3-column layout. A unique graphic header for the top and 2-4 pictures from your business (that you supply). Keyword research will be done for your business niche. The bulk of the content writing will be supplied by you, but edited by us. Contact information of phone, address, and email will be put here. If you’d like a contact form on your site then proceed to the next offering.
Business Builder, 4 to 6 Page Website
$499 – $699. This option offers 4 to 6 pages, including various combinations of a home page, contact page (with contact form), about you page, your services/products page, and other pertinent content. In depth keyword research is done to find the best targeted word and phrases people use to find your business. All content is to be provided by the business, which will be edited by us to make the search engines love it. If you’d like us to do the writing then add $50 per page for content we create.
Content Rich, 10 to 15 Page Website
$999 – $2499. If you’re someone who sees the incredible value in having a website that ranks on the first page of Google, then this is the option for you! We will build a website for your business with 10 to 15 pages of targeted content, written from our keyword research. Content can be a combination written by just you, just us, or both. This option includes a premium header graphic, possibly with some basic flash animation, and logo design. At least one page of content will be written for submission to an article database, which will “prime the pump” in bringing traffic to your site.
Once your site is built it will be actively submitted to the search engines. Google Analytics tracking code will be added to every page and traffic statistics will be gathered over time. Analyzing your traffic is an important part of managing its success. Knowing who comes to visit, how they got there, and how long they stayed (among many other factors) is powerful data to help keep a website ranking well.
On-Going Hosting and Management
So once your site is up and running you can chose from one of our 3 Service Packages:
- Level 1: $35/month. Basic hosting of your website (once created your website has to “live” on a server computer that is open to the Internet 24/7). Any additional editing or design work will be charged at $30/hour. If you have the basic place-holder brochure website this might be your best option until you decide how extensive you want to go with a larger website. We’ll always be available for questions as you’re thinking about growing bigger.
- Level 2: $55/month. This is a good option if you don’t want the headache of actively managing your website. Having someone who knows the business of Internet marketing (that’s us!) keep an eye on your website over time can let you sleep at night. This includes hosting plus monthly review of your traffic statistics, as well as proactively making suggestions for continual additions and improvements to your website, which we will implement. Moderate changes are included here, but any project that requires more than 4 hours for the month will be charged at $30/hr.
- Level 3: $75/month. Do you have a larger site that you want to keep at the top of the search engines? This is the option for you. We will do a weekly review of your Analytics and be on top of any changes or red flags. We will communicate on a regular basis about how your site is doing and make suggestions for improvement, which we’ll implement. This option will also include 1 article, written by us or you, submitted to an article database on a monthly basis. An active link building campaign rounds out this management package.
A small discount will apply if you’d choose to pay on an annual or semi-annual basis.
